DEVELOPMENT OF TUMAINI ACADEMY
The Parish School Tumaini Academy is growing not only in number of pupils, but also in terms of quality education and facilities.
Currently, the school is developing some important facilities:
DEANERY CATECHISTS TRAINING
Ol Moran Parish is committed to offering occasional CATECHISTS TRAINING organized by Ng’arua Deanery.
In August 2023 a group of 19 Junior Catechists from the five Parishes of Ng’arua Deanery completed their basic training and graduated.
On the same line of work, Ng’arua Deanery also published new Prayer Books in Swahili and English languages, meant for families, Small Christian Communities, groups, associations, schools, as well as for personal prayer.
OL MORAN CAMPUS: FORMAZIONE PROFESSIONALE PER INSEGNANTI
Hekima House has hosted professional upgrade training for teachers on a school based program fduring the holiday weeks since Decemer 2022. The training are offered by Kiamariga Teachers Training College, from Karatina, Nyeri. From January 2024, Ol Moran Campus will also offer the full program for professional teachers training (Diploma in P1 and ECDE).
PARISH FARM PROJECTS
The Parish Farm is one of the activities for self-reliance of Ol Moran Parish, which is also offering to the local community ideas and technical experience for local farming activities.
Lately, Ol Moran Parish Farm has been developing two new activities:
